Au top pour cuisine et tea time. Suffisamment grand pour mettre un bouquet garni et pour y mettre des feuilles de thé roulées ou non qui auront la place de s’ouvrir pour developper tous les arômes nécessaires. Systeme de fermeture tres bien. Exactement ce que je cherchais.

Good size & mesh for making soup, but easy to jam. The metal ring is difficult to get a hold of, so if anything gets into the seal it gets stuck like glue. Sometimes using heat and water helps, but not always. Using force results in bending the mesh. Above picture shows final resting state before being thrown away :(

The amazon advert claims it is made of stainless steel, yet, excpet for the chain, no part of this is attracted to a magnet. Aluminium maybe? Beware if you are trying to avoid aluminium transfer to your tea.

Tried for the first time and after using it, unable to open to empty the spices. It's unusable. Unfortunately used it after return wi dow closed.

Great spice ball!I make Vietnamese Pho on a weekly basis and this little gadget saves my life! It keeps all the herbs inside, but does a great job of infusing the soup. The size is also perfect. I am able to put pieces of ginger inside which makes straining the broth so much easier. I love the stainless steel design and the opening/closure is really secure and easy. The hook keeps the spice ball from sinking to the bottom so you can always fish it out easily. I can't live without this any more!

Al tener la parte de la base más grande, se rellena muy bien (va mucho mejor que los esféricos). El cierre funciona muy bien y el material es de muy buena calidad (apenas se ennegrece, como suele pasar con todos infusores). Muy buenos acabados. Se lava muy bien, además.Para hierbas de hoja más fina o trituradas (como rooibos) puede que no vaya tan bien, ya que tiene una rejilla no del todo pequeña.

I brew 2L In an electric water teapot of tea at a time, and this size is just right for that. My teapot has a tight screen on its spout. I would have given 4 stars if not for the screen on my teapot. The size is just what I was looking for, but good or bad...the screen size is very porous/course.The bad part of the large screen size is the small tea particles make it through. I found that rinsing the tea for 30 sec in a cup of cold water solves much of this. The good part of the screen size is the efficient flow of hot water. This would be great for mulled wine, sangria or hot cider spices too.

I use this primarily for holding spices while wet-curing bacon & ham, making sauerbraten, or brining a chicken. This is especially useful with chicken because we often brine dressed chicken parts or cubes. You don't want to pick out the juniper berries, cloves, coriander seeds. Kuchenprofi products always seem to use high-quality stainless for this kind of thing. So it is easy to clean up and you don't have to worry about rust. I also used it to make "sun tea" and "sun coffee". It worked beautifully. It opens and closes very easily, but the lid stays tightly fixed when it should. Because the lid is completely removable, and not hinged, I have also used the bottom portion as a fine mesh strainer in a pinch. Though a featherweight product, it feels very substantial and well-made.
