Okay, not great. I got this because of the pocket feature, but the loop that's meant to hold the strap for the yarn is not centered in any way. It's so off center that the whole thing hangs sideways. There were a couple of loose threads. The zipper slides smoothly though, and the walls of the pocket are padded, so it keeps it's shape well.

This is the first time I’ve tried a yarn holder like this…I typically use yarn bowls, but I was looking for something more suited to “crocheting on the go”. This is an almost perfect solution! I love the zipper pouch, but wish it was just a tiny bit larger since my ergo crochet hooks are just a fraction too long for the zipper to close. The corduroy strap is a little tricky to feed through the skein of yarn, and the clips are sturdy, but a little bit stiff which was a little troublesome for me - younger/stronger hands probably wouldn’t have an issue. However, this is still a great product, and I love that it keeps my yarn where I want it…no more falling on the floor while I’m working!

It works and spins well. The bottom pocket flexes but it doesnt slip through the yarn. I love that there is a pocket in this version of the yarn holder. I do think it is a little weird that the ball section and handle is just the exact same piece being used but I guess it makes sense. I also like this more than the wood versions because it doesnt smack against other things as aggressively.

This thing wouldn't hold a skein of yarn. Even if you are doing tiny balls for amigurumi. It doesn't expand. IT's just a small round change purse size bag that hangs on to your arm. Assuming your arms are as thin as a child's, because that's the size of the strap that came with it. My 8 yr old now uses this as a change purse.

This yarn holder is genius. I love that it holds a ball of yard safely and keeps it clean while I crochet. No more falling on the ground, collecting pet hair and dirt! Makes my hobby more portable!
