Bought this to replace my old one that got damaged. Looks exactly the same in the pic down to the “made in u.s.a. on it. This new one is maybe 1/4 the thickness of my old one, maybe a little thicker than a milk jug. I could live with that but it leaks at the cap too. Somewhere out there is one the looks Exactly like this but way better made. I can’t bring myself to return it no matter how bad it is since I have used it. Plastic 52 oz orange juice container is better.

Others are cheap imitations'. This is engineered to suit its purpose. Lid opens/closes in 1/3 turn so it is quick to use. Another better seller (I tried) won't sit level when empty. Been using these for 15 years and this is the best.

It’s not a bad quality for the price, but it’s a little small and not see through so you just have to hope for the best. I’ve had to stop mid stream a couple times while out camping. I use it in my tent.

This is the real deal. I bought several of the imports before I found this one. It is made in the US, doesn't leak, and the top is easy to screw on - unlike the others. Can be used in bed - just roll over on your side. Be sure it is the "Little John" brand.

Originally got one at a pharmacy in a hospital with female adapter. We use them camping and occasionally sleeping somewhere without a potty. The female adapter fits inside neck very well and very easy to hold with the handle. I’ve never spilled one. Just make sure to get the original female adapter by the same company that's blue.I keep adding more to the collection because my fiancé now loves to use them inside the tent as well. We go through 2 to 3 a night each sometimes. I looked into getting bigger ones from another company and they were horrible because of snap on tops or the way the female adapter doesn’t fit correctly. These have screw on tops that don’t leak. I wouldn’t throw them around the room but they are quite dependable. Getting hard to find the original Little John. My contractor friend also uses them when he is fixing bathrooms, since there’s often not a working toilet.Btw I always eventually take out the liner on the lid. Because it's hard to wash and get it clean and it gets yucky.I actually wish little John would make a bigger version of this. I've never found a bigger version that worked as well.(For travel in gas station bathrooms or whatever, I use a different sort of female funnel.)
