Well it does what everyone said it did in other reviews. I’m not going to say I’m happy but I’ll say go buy one for yourself. It took me about 45 minutes to install myself and it didn’t cost a fortune either.

Doesn’t fit all 5.3L engines. It caused my throttle body to rest on the Coolant hose from the water pump. Also caused k&n intake to not fit anymore as it was now 1” closer to the radiator fan, therefore sitting in the fan.Ended up returning and going with air raid throttle body spacer,Check coolant line from water pump.Make sure there’s room for the throttle body after install. As well make sure your cold air intake (if using) will still fit

Easy to install! Always have the correct tools in hand to make things smoother. After installation, I started it up, sounds great ! And you do feel a better response time, and better air flow. Definitely would purchase again :)

The part I purchased would simply not fit my truck and amazon said it would. I purchased a Jet TBI spacer for my truck and upon installation other parts of my truck would not fit. The spacer did fit my throttle body, but the air intake would hit my radiator fan. So I contacted Jet Performance myself and the company told me if I didn't have that extra inch for the TBI spacer, I simply could not use their product. I wish that would have been explained some how, so the part really didn't fit my truck in which Amazon said it would. So I had to send the TBI spacer back which I paid the postage and the company which Amazon went through used a 20% restocking fee. I would recommend that the buyer check with company themselves instead of trusting Amazon like I did.

I haven't had time yet to see how well it works. I have an 01 Silverado 5.3L. It will take patience if you have big hands but not to difficult to install. If you have a CAI I would not suggest this product though. My K&N Intake will not fit back on. I had to switch back to the stock intake and trim the fan guard slightly. If it does not improve gas mileage I will re post on it and also send it back.

when first ordering this spacer plate for my 2002 avalanche I was skeptical on any increase this thing could do for me,I did not like the price $95 but I wanted more get up "n" go so I bought it,it's not going to blow your mind with the performance gain nor will it help a tired engine but it will give some gain to your engine if it's healthy(mine has 100,000 on it and was just tuned up with plugs and wires)it also runs very well.the installation on a vortech 5.3 or 6.0 calls for a work around two small cooler lines connected to the throttle valve(easy no need to bypass or buy a new hose like the other guy on here said)simply #1 take off the air cleaner duct and engine top cover #2 disconnect the throttle linkage and kick down (if not electrical)if electrical simply remove all the connections #3 pinch both cooler lines lightly with either small vise grips or line pinch pliers and remove from throttle without losing the coolant #4 remove nuts then remove throttle #5 remove studs from intake and clean the area before installing the gasket #6 install gasket, spacer, gasket, throttle and two bolts and lightly start bolts then install the third bolt and tighten down snug(not too tite)#7 this is important you now need to reinstall and extend the shorter driver side coolant line by bending the coolant tube (ever so slightly) and removing tension on the hose and then losen and move the hose a little(1/4 inch)from the throttle side#8 install either the connectors and or linkage or just connectors(depending on if you have an electronic throttle or cable)#9 install the two provided relocation plates (you will only be using two bolts not three to bolt your linkage support down)check that the linkage has a little slack in it before installing the the air cleaner duct and finally install your air cleaner duct and engine top cover that's it(I hope this helps)it is easy to do just take your time and spend special attention to the cooler lines you'll be working with and you'll be fine(good luck and may the force be with you)always.

Installed one on my 99 silverado v8 4.8L vortech. Great hp gain and now I am able to hear the air getting sucked into my intake.
