Good, not great purchase.You fill the bladder when it is inside the canvas holder. The bladder doesn't always seal well. The online description states the zipper pouch holds a phone, keys, etc....If you have water in the bladder there is NOT room for a phone. That was disappointing because a water bottle and phone holder in 1 is what I was looking for. This "contraption" either is a water bottle holder or a phone/key holder, but not both.It is comfortable to hold. I have SMALL hands and was able to adjust the strap to fit my hand. This was another "concern" I had when ordering. Would the handle be too big for me? Not an issue.I did not like the feel of carrying the holder with the bladder inside. Not sure how to describe it, but it felt like jello bouncing around? I instead have inserted a 12 oz small hard plastic water bottle instead of the bladder. This is MUCH better for me. I can refill this over time and periodically replace with new bottles. This will also be less expensive than buying replacement bladders.The bladder had a "stay fresh" packet inside. We did not see before we filled the bladder. Oops. Be sure and remove this before you fill.Do your homework as to what you are wanting/needing. Try several options to see what works best for you. What works for one person may not be the best solution for the next person.Like I said this is a good option, but not a great option. However, for the $$ it is a good overall value compared to other options I considered.

I thought that I would enjoy the softer bottle, but it is really hard to run with. It does not stay tight to your hand, which causes it to move up and down a lot, and rub the back of your hand a lot. Ran with it for about 3.11 miles, and it was really annoying. When I got home, I threw it out. It seemed to leak too. The band for the hand seems really big too, and I had to tighten it all the way, and it still felt too big. I really did not like this product. Go with a hard shell for the bottle.

Both my husband and I spend a lot of time running and hiking so we've used soft flasks a lot. We both loved the idea of this hand held for shorter runs when we don't want to carry a lot. This set up is a great idea with a handle that is adjustable to fit different sized hands. There is a pocket in the case for carrying keys and also fits my pepper spray.The problem with this is the lid on the bottle. It is really hard to get more than a drop out of it. Maybe this one is just defective as we've used lids like this before and not had a problem. The good news is that it doesn't leak at all. The bad news is that it's hard to get a drink while running which defeats the purpose of carrying this in the first place.
