The VTEC solenoid works fine, but the new unit came with the incorrect VTEC oil pressure sensor attached. They list this to fit my 2002 Honda Civic EX model but the oil pressure sensor that came with it was for a different sub model and not for the EX or HX.Make sure you get the right Oil Pressure sensor or you’ll through a P01259 code.I found the right VTEC Oil Pressure switch (OE Number: 37250PHM003) on Amazon for less than $20 and it fixed the problem.
