Things to remember about Java Moss

Moss often times has some brown strands mixed in, this is normal and to be expected due to how the moss is initially grown and harvested. The Java moss will grow in and look very nice but understand it needs time to grow in and establish. You Should attach it to something so it can stay locked in and have a chance to anchor in place.

I ordered 3 packs of this Java moss to make some hide outs for my shrimp. I was very impressed with the quality of the moss I received. It was more alive and vibrant than the ones I find at my local pet stores. Larger quantities and less expensive as well. Didn’t see any snails on it either. Will definitely be ordering again in the future.

It was more brown than green, and my tank level was right for it to grow it off, but it still was brown never fully mature to green

I received my Java Moss in a timely manner and it was packed very nicely. Sure, some of the moss is a little brown, but that is to be expected, All of it is surviving in my two tanks and the shrimp and other fish love it! Great purchase, I am excited to watch it grow.

Item received quickly and in very good condition. I'm very happy with both types of moss I received, and a nice size portion.

The shrimps are happy! I was a little worried but after a month of good lighting the moss is thriving and my shrimps love it. There's still some dead bits but not a ton.

The price is too high for the condition and quantity of this product. Half if not more of the Java grass was brown and could not be used, the amount given was very small, perhaps more on the $2.00 valuation. Avoid this product and purchase from a seller that sends fresher plants at a lower rate.Would not buy again

nice size portion , everything was Great about the product , though I subtracted 2 stars because i ended up getting mites from this. easy fix however, Guppy are one of my favorite fish, they happen to find these mites a delicacy, so after isolation in my guppy breeding tank, for 2 weeks they were good to be transplanted on to rocks in my axolotls tank.
