As stated above the size is a little small. Supposed to be for 40-50l pack. Not exactly. I have a Kelty Redwing 44 liter. It almost covers top and bottom together and almost fits over the side pouches. I am sure that if I didn’t have the side pouches it would fit pretty well if not snug. So get a size up if you have a Kelty Redwing. It does offer enough coverage that I am confident in a short light rain, but in a downpour, it would fail to do its job. That being said it does exactly what it was designed to do. It adequately protects my stuff in the bag from water intrusion over the areas it will cover.Quality is good enough for the price. The elastic seam that goes around the cover is your garden variety elastic fringe. So longevity is questionable. Though I don’t see this being an issue for me. The price I paid was low enough that I could have gambled a little. However, if you are going on a hike or whatever type of trip that you cannot afford any failures of your equipment. I would look elsewhere for a good quality cover. If your like me and have it for just in case while traveling then this should suffice. All things considered it works but if it were any smaller it would have been useless.I am giving it 3 stars for fitment and quality of build. Its better than a plastic bag but I wouldn’t trust my gear if I were outside any longer than a few hours (that is stretching it). I am trying to give this some grace. It was cheap enough that I couldn’t expect much from it. Just keep in mind that I would not buy this again. Instead I would look for something that has wrap around buckles and elastic. Buckles that that can be cinched tight. Definitely don’t want something that will allow water in from a lack of coverage.
