JACKSON ULTIMA SIZE CHART
Here are a few tips to assist in selecting the correct size:
• Take measurements in the socks that will be used while skating.
• Stand on a sheet of paper.
• Have someone else place a mark at your longest toe and at your heel. The pen should be straight up and down to determine the proper length.
• Remove the foot and measure the distance between both marks in inches; repeat with your second foot.
• Using the longer measurement of your two feet, select the most appropriate size. Do not select a size that is smaller than the length of your longest foot.
Please Note:
• Determining skate size by comparing to street shoe sizing is difficult as both are sized for different movements; skates are sized to glide with little foot movement while shoes are sized to allow for more flex when walking.
• Skates generally have a snug fit to ensure the foot does not move; this type of fit may not suit everyone.
Sizing is provided as a guideline only and should not replace proper fitting completed by an authorized Jackson Ultima Retailer.

These are beautiful skates. My daughter is 8.5 and just picked up skating. She takes lessons and practices an additional 1-2 times per week. We had been renting skates that she complained were very uncomfortable so we wanted to go with a comfort skate to start with. These skates are well made and she said they are very comfortable and cozy. She gets many compliments on them and her skating is improving with every wear. We had them sharpened before she used them and put soakers on the blade when they are in her bag.

I bought these ice skates for my daughter. She is 9 and used the rental skates for the first class. She wanted to quit the first day. She kept falling and her ankles were hurting so much. She only agreed to continue with classes if I bought her comfortable skates. The skates arrived on time and did not need sharpened- she went straight to the ice. It is now 5-weeks later and she loves ice skating. Thank goodness we found these skates!
