I used to get whipped cream out of those aerosol cans. I could tell you that I got this because that's very ineffiicient and wasteful, of resources and my money, and that would be partly true. But the main reason was to have an excuse to have more whipped cream. The one quart whipper requires you to make a full quart of cream into whipped cream, and to use two chargers. As I understand the process, the space left over above the cream is where the N20 gas goes, so you can't make a half recipe in the quart sized whipper, because then you'd have to use about 10 cartridges to fill all the empty space.I overwhipped my first batch. More shaking is not better. I will continue to experiment to find the right amount of shaking, but if you shake too much it turns toward whipped butter, still nice but not the original intention.Chargers are sold separately, available on Amazon, much cheaper if you buy in larger quantity and you need two at a time anyway. They encourage the use of their own cartridges, and it may be that their cartridges contain more gas than competitors, hence "green" able to make more whip from a quart of cream. I don't mind that, and it's great if they can be recycled as they say. (Can I figure out how to refill them?) I asked in an Amazon chat if I could use an existing 625g large gas bottle I have, and they didn't give me any help. So in the interest of science, I bought their chargers, really not too expensive.Everything fit together well and seemed pretty well made.

I follow a Keto diet and this is perfect to make my own whipped cream. I can use heavy cream and sweeten it with liquid stevia. Works like a charm.

I’m not sure if this is a product issue or user error but I’m unable to get actual whipped topping out of this. I had to order the chargers separately and I did order the ones from this company so I know they are designed for this product. I followed the instructions carefully and used a recipe that I found online for plant based topping but all that came out of this was liquid with a bit of foam. I’m very disappointed in the results as we were super excited to be able to make our own vegan whipped topping at home. I will reach out to the company for advice but so far this product has not worked out at all.

I got this in the mail today and I've already used it to make whipped cream. I have another one of these - their original version with the red top - in a smaller size and it's been great! I've been looking to get a second and when I saw this available I had to get one. Obsessed. BUY IT! they are amazing for sauces, foams, creams and more!

This was a miss from ISI.Pros:- produces really fluffy creamCons:- it probably injects too much gas into the cream which makes it fluffier, but even after using 2 cartridges per pint, I still have some cream left overI returned it and bought the ISI gourmet whipper instead. The cream is not as fluffy as the eco series but still really good, and I don’t need more than 1 cartridge per pint

This was much bigger than my home cook self could need. I didn't realize quite how much whipped cream a quart would make or that you can't really store it and reuse it. Doesn't work for my needs but in a restaurant environment, this would be phenomenal!

Just made a blueberry whipped cream that was to die for. I mean that's all I really need to say, when was the last time you had blueberry whipped cream on honey butter cupcakes/muffins? Are you kidding me right now?Now I'm going to be honest, I'm not in the business of using a lot of whatever the official name for this item is so I will say it's great for beginners but if you're a professional I'm not sure if this is up to speed.Another thing to note is you will need cartridges otherwise known as cream chargers, which is crazzzy terminology wise, in order to make whipped cream.Outside of that, watch a couple YouTube videos to acclimate in this new world that you've entered into and boom next thing you know you're making fresh dessert toppings. Now there is a risk… you get your topping game right you might find yourself staying out late and going out more!!! Before I got nice I had this chick and I was faithful like I could see the church in her. She was my sweetie pie so of course I deserted her.Anyway the item is great lolUntil We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken
