This was for a project not related to a chalk line. My first thought was stick chalk, but thats hard to find and you have to powder it up. This Line chalk cut out a step or two and patterned nicely. It's good quality and spread evenly.

The color shows up well on many surfaces. It doesn't seem to stain like some red or blue chalk does.

Works good on concrete but, if you try to clear coat it, it will not stay visible. So you’ll need to transfer pencil lines down first, or you’ll lose it.

Bought this thinking it might be easier to see, i was wrong. Stick with the standard blue chalk. On drywall, i would not see the green lines most of the cut
