Not the brightest. Probably adequate. I planned to put them on gloves and never found the right gloves. I have reflective bands for my wrists and ankles that are much brighter.

These are very cute stickers and I happily added them to my backpack with the hope that they would help light it up a bit at night. I used a heat press to iron them on. One of them I accidentally melted because I had the press too hot Likely would not happen if you just use and iron. The attached pretty well, but there are so many little parts of tails and ears, that I only got one of them to stick all the way without curling up.I was disappointed. Although they are cute and I like them on my bag, they don't reflect enough light to add to safety. They are just way too small for that. Maybe if i put all of them along the bottom of my bag I might get some decent light reflection. Mostly though, I feel like they are just stickers.

These are definitely reflective! If you love cats, these are a great way to zest up your bike, backpack, helmet etc!

I was really excited to find these for my darker coats. They seem to adhere great, but came off second time wearing the coat

I ordered these for my black dog's collar because she uses a break-away collar and I can't seem to find any that have the safety reflectors. She practically disappears at night because she is black and she is also a runner (we joke that she is part Greyhound because running at top speed is her favorite).These reflectors are helping my anxiety a little bit (along with an apple air tag) in the case that she gives us the slip again. They function as far as reflecting goes, but they were a little tricky to iron onto a dog collar (small decals, narrow, awkward surface). I thought they would be more like stickers and that I would be able to stick one to its location before ironing, but I ended up having to get them placed just right and hold them there with the very tips of my fingers while I ironed until part of the decal was stuck enough to where I could then run the iron over the whole thing. I was worried about placing the iron directly on the collar/decal, so I used a old and thin baby washcloth to help protect things. It's possible that this wasn't even necessary, but I did it anyway.The reflectors seem to be pretty stuck, but I don't plan on throwing the collar in the wash on a regular basis either so I don't really have to worry much about them washing off, and there's so many decals that if they do eventually fall off I can just replace them with fresh ones (within reason-- if they fall off constantly I'll be moving on to plan B, whatever that will be).

Make sure you iron well - directions are pretty sketchy and the adhesive doesn't stick well after about a week (of not wearing!). wish the quantity and size was larger - the space between the individual strips is tiny and not much room to cut without gacking up the neighboring strips.
