I will end up using this as a light switch inside a shipping container housing a remote radio repeater. I don't need it to be waterproof, but the switch and housing are ideal for my situation. It's a complete solution with the included wire, albeit shorter than I will need. No problem adding my own additional wire. The high DC current rating is excellent. The switch lights up when 12-24v is applied to the center terminals (any polarity) so you can have it always on, or come on when the switch is on.

Hooked it up to a remote irrigation pump system. Easier than the Anderson connectors I was using before.
