1 bolt hole was off just a little and to close to the spot where the throttle bracket mounts to. Unable to turn the bolt. The right side of the intake is a little wide and would seat all the way down.

Needed a low profile manifold to fit under boat engine cover.Fit real good and adaptors for 4 center bolts worked for my 87chevy 5.7 small block. Wished I would have chased pipe thread holes with tapas they were tight. You need to use Allen type bolts as hex headswere really tight in some places and could not get a wrench on them.Went with Allen head type bolts and no problems.

I’m sure it doesn’t flow as well as a good edelbrock, but for the money it works well and fit nicely. I didnt even have to stack the silicone or use the gaskets on the china walls. Great product as far as I’m concerned.

It's an affordable price but if I had to buy it again I'd pay an extra buck to get a manifold with as many fittings and gaskets included that I could find. The 3/8 npt thread fitting right infront of the thermostat port is for the thermostat bypass line not the coolant temp sensor. Blocking that line will cause upper hose to be sucked flat. order a 3/8th npt thread to 5/8th hose barb fitting for that hole. I couldn't find that fitting at the hardware stores.

This intake manifold is more or less a knockoff of a much more expensive product. If you’re into racing already you probably know that nothing usually works right out of the box without modification and this intake manifold is no different. After doing some cleanup, gasket matching and smoothing this manifold was awesome I did modify carburetor flange opening for a smoother transition. Other than the normal modifications one would need to do to make the kind of power this intake manifold is designed for nothing else was needed. If you use this manifold on vortec heads you’ll need to remove some material from the top edges of the manifold. All that said , I’m happy.

It’s a beautiful manifold, and if you are running the stock heads, this should be great,I’m running after market alu heads and the ports and much larger. So I’m saving it for my truck! All you people asking it will fit whatever you have. Did a little deeper they make many to fit almost every v8 out. Chev, ford, mopar
