These are solid midrange wheels. These ride a bit hard so they are best fit for outdoor use. The aesthetics are very pleasing and in my opinion, look better in person! The light is a nice touch for those night riders. But this product loses one star because I feel like the bearings could be better. They are not as smooth as they should be at this price point. But besides that, I recommend this for solid midrange aesthetically pleasing wheels.

I own quite a few different skate wheels as I’ve tried many variations for that perfect enjoyable ride. I’m happy with this set of eight wheels. They are smooth when riding around my city neighborhood, but they’re not the absolute smoothest bearings that I’ve experienced (hence 4 stars). I’m a sticker for absolutely smooth bearings and these do work just fine around my streets and sidewalk for a good overall ride thanks to the softer wheel material. It’s also super cool that these wheels light up and don’t require batteries and the faster you skate the brighter they will glow. They also have some glitter type material that accentuates the lighting up so they look even cooler. An extra is that they also include an attractive wheel bag where you can keep your wheels and bearings in when not being used. I like them so much I’m actually keeping the wheels on my skates, but will use the bag for other things. This is a good set of wheels in the moderate price range so I consider them a good purchase.

I installed these wheels on my Rollerblades and they fit perfectly. I greased up the bearings and they spin great. The wheels are made of a material that seems to have great grip on indoor skating rinks as well as when riding outdoors. The lights on the wheels are bright, but not so intense that they bother others. I like that the wheel set came with tools to install them. The diameter of the wheel is very common, so they should fit most inline skates. I look forward to many miles of riding on these.

In the pictures, I've only replaced half the wheels for my son to compare. He thought the new wheels rolled smoother (although I question from my youth whether these bearings are really ABEC-9 since they don't spin for very long). The price is great for a set of wheels or a set of bearings, let alone both. The best part is that the wheels light up (even during the day). I can't imagine how cool they would look at a darker roller skating rink.

The wheels did not spin as smoothly as I expected before putting them on the rollerblades. I'm used to just holding the bearing and spinning the wheel and it just spins a long time. These will stop almost immediately. So, I'm not sure if these are really ABEC-9 bearings. The width of my rollerblades frame was wider but the original wheels had side spacers so I re-used those and it worked just fine. After replacing the wheels and skating, they rolled just fine. The white glow is really cool. Although it's not a solid light inside the wheel, when skating, it appears like the entire wheel is glowing and you don't see the individual lights.
