Just trimmed a little plastic from the sail panels with snips, and these fit fine. Even though the oem tweeters were slightly larger, these are definitely more crisp and clear. Worth the upgrade for sure.

I am an Audiophile completely, I made it my mission to get the best sound out from the factory amp. I knew I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on speakers, and amp, eqs and so on. I did very careful research, and from my years of dealing with hi end equipment, I had an idea of the route I was going.I first made it my mission to sound deaden the SUV, I used two different kinds of sound deadening material and did the entire SUV until I was satisfied completely. I did the doors, the trunk, especially the entire area where the spare tire is, I did the rear hatch, and then the wheel wells (what a freaking difference in under carriage road noise) .I then purchased Powerbass 6x9 and 6x5 woofers, the tweeters were not the best, slightly better than OEM but wasn't the sound I was looking for, but the woofers are perfect! I then upgraded the 3.5 speakers in the rear and the single one in the front dash to infinity reference, I then upgraded the subwoofer to a 2ohm woofer. I then decided to use infinity reference tweeters for the front, as good as it sounded, clarity was still missing in the back, I then bought another pair of tweeters and I stalled them myself in the rear doors and that's when the sound opened up and became perfect. I then bought a iPod 7, and redownload my CDs into lossless, upgraded the iPod cable to a furutech hi end 40 pin cable, and then I added a audioquest jitterbug. And let me tell you, the sound became pure perfection and as close to high-end that you can get. You hear every instrument, the bass is tight and not forceful. I played miles Davis, I played pearl jams wma, and let me tell you, I was in shock with the way the stereo sounded.It's worth the investment, it really is. I know for myself, I spend more time in my car than anything else, and music is my peace, to have it sound this good, is the best ...It's worth the investment and time, you'll thank me for it.

I bought a set of 6.5", 3.5" and dome tweeters. the three speakers sound tinny and hissy with a lot of brilliance and an absolute nightmare to try to equalize as they are mute on low volume and absolutely LOUD at medium to high volume. absolutely horrible so much so that I reverted to the OEM and for the first time in 30 years of messing around with car stereos OEM sound better than these "reference"....

I have been a fan of infinity since the mid 90's the tweeters worked perfectly in my factory Audi Bose systems it's a very big difference just what was needed and save a few bucks buying them reconditioned and the look like new A plus purchase

I placed these tweeters in the upper door of my 1999 Lexus LS400. They were very easy to install and sound great. Brought more highs and clarity to the sound stage in my car.

These sound really good for the price and come with many high quality mounting options. I chose to add tweeters after installing a infinity kappa 12” sub and needing more high end to keep up with it. These have drastically changed how clear vocals, and highs are along with adding a high sound stage. Pretty much all pros and a big difference like adding a sub. I’ve had tweeters in other cars before like the hertz dt24’s but these are much clearer. I like how they swivel in the cup and have small high pass filters to fit in the door. Overall would highly recommend these to anyone in the market to add more high end to their audio setups to balance out bass.

These tweeters certainly add a good touch to my Infinity 6.5” door speakers. Crisp, clean sound overall with excellent detail. Yes, they’re amplified.
