I thought I would give this wall mount fan bracket a try. The bracket was adequately packaged and arrived when promised. After inspection of the components I am disappointed. As a mechanical engineer I would not trust this support assembly to hold a heavy fan overhead. It will likely work for a while but the very light gage of steel will probably not prove to be very durable. The weight, operating loads and vibration will likely result in cracking of the bracket. Also, it lacks a safety cable to prevent the fan from crashing to the floor. Not recommended.

This arrived without the original packaging and installation instructions. It appears to be in used condition, or sat heavily neglected, as it’s scratched, dented, and rusted as seen in the photos.

Arrived no problems, no chipping paint, 3 bolts ...I will use heavy screws instead. Havent seen if indoor antenna will fit the end where I need to attach it but this was as close as I could find for this purpose. If it doesnt I will use it for a fan ...its sturdy & glad I found it.

I used this to mount a 16” oscillating house fan. I wanted it upside down so that I could still access the controls. This works great! Install was easy. We used toggle bolts and a thick screw in the stud

I just received this, haven't even put it up yet. If you care about appearance, find a different one. The paint on the mounting bracket is cracking and peeling right out of the box. If you touch it, the paint cracks off in your hand. If I didn't need it now, I'd definitely send it back.

I honestly knew i wanted this product as soon as i seen it. Had a standing fan to hang and took it apart to make it fit perfectly. Seems a bit cheap but did the job. Did not come with screws but bolts instead. Luckly had some of my own screws to finish the job.

Triangular Bracket holding curved bar is cheaply made. I had to secure another chain to catch it when it breaks. Didn’t feel safe to chance letting a fan hit a 80k truck parked under it
