DREAMY WHIP IN YOUR HAND

Real Leather Bullwhip

ARDOURCRAFTS CONTINUOUSLY STEPPED FORWARD AND APPEARED AS AN ICON OF QUALITY.

A whip is a tool designed to strike humans or other animals to exert control through pain compliance or fear of pain. They can also be used without inflicting pain, for audiovisual cues, such as in equestrianism. Real leather whips are versatile;

They've been used for survival, hunting, self-defense, working with livestock, cosplay, and sports competitions. The Genuine Leather Bull Whip is well-suited for professionals and hobbyists alike.

This 8-feet long bullwhip is handwoven from real leather. It's 8-inch Wooden Handle has a knot with a braided wrist strap, providing control and a solid grip for whip cracking.

A bullwhip consists of a handle section, a thong, a fall, and a cracker. A wrist loop may also be present, although its chief purpose is for hanging one's whip on a hook.

The main portion of the bullwhip's length is made up of a braided body or thong.

When the whip is new: Upon delivery your whip will be quite stiff. Don’t worry as this is normal. As you use your whip it will β€œbreak in” as we say, becoming supple over time and adapt to your style of cracking. Think about it like getting a new pair of leather shoes. They too might be a bit stiff and uncomfortable in the beginning, but as you wear them they’ll loosen up and form perfectly to your foot. Refrain from trying to speed up the breaking in process by bending the whip back and forth and putting large amounts of leather dressing-/conditioner on it. Just use it like you normally would and give the whip some time.

While cracking

  • Only use your whip on grass or other smooth surfaces. Do not crack your whip on sand, gravel or pavement as this significantly damages your whip! Don’t practice wraps on trees as they too can damage the whip in a similar way due to their abrasive surface.
  • Don’t get your whip wet. Moisture can get in to your whip and cause mildew. If you want to crack whips on rainy days, getting a Para cord (or other synthetic) whip to complement your whip collection might be a good idea!
  • Don’t crack your whip without a cracker/popper.

Storing your whip

  • Store your whip lightly coiled, laying down, away from direct sunlight and pets! Dogs in particular might think whips are perfect chewing toys.
  • Don’t expose it to extreme temperatures for long periods of time. In other words, don’t leave it in a hot car or outside during the winter.

Note

Do note that we make all our products by hand with natural materials. This means that slight variations in thicknesses, colors, weights or other aspects might occur. This is what makes hand made products unique. We don’t use molds, robots or machines. Only hands and tools.

Gone riding, Gone Wild

A crop, sometimes called a riding crop or hunting crop, is a short type of whip without a lash, used in horse riding, part of the family of tools known as horse whips. The crop should not be used as punishment, where the animal fails to perform a wanted behavior and as such is hit.

I ordered this with the assumption that it would be a dark brown. Instead, I received one that was dyed black. As for the workmanship, I have no complaint.

I learned how to snap a bull whip when I was a kid. I gave my last one to my nephew when he leaned how to do it. I took a risk by buying this one before handling it. I am extremely pleased with the quality and feel of this whip. This is the best quality and easiest to use bull whip I have owned.

The whip is top quality but I could not give it 5 stars because the seller cannot ship in a timely manner. This is my second order from this seller and both time they could not give me accurate tracking information and the orders were always late

What a BEAUTIFUL, well made, and sturdy bullwhip this is! In all honesty it is truly a work of art! The leather is of excellent quality, and the craftsmanship is second to NONE! The first thing I did was work the entire length by hand to loosen up the leather. Then I followed it up by working in a little Neetsfoot oil to provide ultimate protection and pliability. The 8 plait braid is uniform throughout the entire length of the whip, and the Turks head knots are just gorgeous! It is functional in every sense of the word, and will last a lifetime. If you LOVE leather and appreciate outstanding quality and craftsmanship, this is the whip for you! Even if it is only a show piece, what a conversation starter! My hat is off to Ardour Crafts for making good on everything they promise! This is NOT the last purchase I will make from them!

I'm no expert, but based on my research this whip is well made. The weave on the handle, handle knot, and transition knot is very tight. I wore out the cracker after a few weeks and it was easy to replace. The Thong is fairly stiff, so you can't roll it as pictured, it's been loosening up with use.The Fall is flat leather, but the photo has a round leather Fall. I've read that round is better.I've been watching lots of Adam Winrich videos on youtube and having a lot of fun with it. I cracked myself in the side of the head above the ear the other day, resulting in a good deal of blood :(
