I absolutely love the Mycrafts Indian Vintage Handmade Kantha Quilt! They're perfect in every way. The colors and patterns are just lovely, bringing a vibrant and cozy feel to my space.While they did require washing upon arrival, I was more than happy to do so—it’s something I would have done anyway. The variety of patterns and colors is pleasing to the eye, even if you don’t love a pattern you can turn it over and you’ll probably like the other side! Others are correct, there is a strange smell when they arrive, but I believe that is due to the “shrink wrap” packaging. I washed them twice and it was gone. We use these on our treatment tables (I own a holistic spa) and clients love them.

These blankets are soft and cool to the touch. Unique designs. Good for gifting. Traditional rustic look with lots of character. Very happy with my purchase.

I have seen similar quilts online and in boutique stores for more than twice the price. They are lightweight, super soft, and in an eclectic mix of colors and patterns. They are wonderfully imperfect and some have delightful little patches sewn on. So if you want perfection you should probably pay more for something boring. The whole idea behind these quilts is to upcycle clothing. They are a perfect weight to toss over your couch for instant Boho style. I love them!

I love this batch of vintage Kantha blankets. They are vibrant in color and everyone is so unique. The only downfall is they smell of chemicals. This batch was definitely stronger in odor but I washed them and they smell a little better. But I will be buying again!

Wonderful mixture of fabric colours and patterns. Smelled a bit musty, but not terrible and they washed well. All edges were finished, a few small patches, which only adds to their charm. Lightweight and soft. Overall wonderful purchase, very happy with them.

As for being handmade, they are a beautiful piece of culture. But! I couldnt help but notice.....what looks like blood stains on some if the blankets... Then different scenarios of how this blankets come to be mas produced...and if its actually blood stains on the fabric.... What where these fabrics used for before being recycled into blankets.As for smell...it was horrible, a mix of mildew/moldey/ damo conditions. I washed all the blankets 3x....until my washmachine filled up with clear water.The first wash my water was dark brown, please do not handle and smell these before washing. It may be a health HazzardI am very curious to who makes these blankets and the conditions they are in, the energy off these blankets are quite sorrowful

Even though these will be holiday gifts as I unfolded each blanket I felt like I was getting a gift. A gift of culture, color, energy, and being green!!! Each piece was more spirited than the last. If you are looking for new and flawless these are not for you. The stitching is rough uneven and completely adds to the sense of a handmade item. The pieces are lovely, just lovely. I have traveled to India twice and these are exactly as I remembered the streets, explosion of color, pattern and life. My mix was reds, pastels, some greens and some blue, something perfect for each of my friends. Highly recommend VERY excited to share these w women I adore. Perfect for snuggling at a bonfire or decorated a table. I immediately wrapped one around my tree as a skirt. Shipment was super quick. No smell, all were gently washed and air dryer without issue.
