I also have a 30 year old Astron power supply. The on/off switch wouldn't click to "on" anymore.Read some reviews and noticed a couple of others ordered this part for theirs so I gave it a try.Perfect fit!!Hooked everything back up and good to go.*don't forget to mark the wires when you disconnect them so you know which one goes where*

Purchased this switch to replace a similar switch on a surge protected power strip. Many years ago I had purchased two identical power strips and they stood the test of time and serviced me for many years. But, one stopped functioning and although I bought a replacement I held on to the broken one because it was well built, constructed, and made. Upon examining the non-function power strip I saw that the switch had cracked and no longer could serve its purpose. Now the unit is going to give me additional service.

These had ( as I hoped) the 120VAC illumination and were a drop in replacement in an Astron power supply I was repairing. Dropped right in, replacing the original 30 year old Carlingswitch that a previous owner had damaged.

Easy install. A schematic diagram would have been helpful, since dumb me didn't pay attention to the hook up when removing the defective switch.

Bought to replace 16A main power switch. New switch was wider than factory switch by .100". Trimmed hole wider. Salvaged a $100 heater!
