When I open the box to install the screen. The ribbon cable was torn.

After repairing multiple iPads and iPhones I worked on my first iPod touch. As I haven’t worked on those before I went with iFixit which usually has the best instructions and everything works well. Not this time around. Instructions are pretty much not existing and I gave up on their instructions after hitting a dead end and the iPod touch is not working at all anymore.
