This is my second three sensors thermometer in two years. The first one performed well until one of the sensors stopped working and no matter what I did it was stuck with a constant temperature reading. There is no reset button and there are no instructions or for that matter a website if you run into a problem. It is cheap enough, so I finally replaced my first machine with another one that is working fine. There are two external sensors where I have one in the refrigerator and the other in the freezer. There is a third sensor built into the display that provides room temperature. It is compact, and it is readable. The instructions on setting the alarm are a bit obscure, but with patience I was able to muddle through and make everything work. With the wa, magnetic strips close the door on modern refrigerators it is very easy for one to remain open and not be noticed. That’s all it takes to destroy the contents if left open for an extended period of time. My Samsung refrigerator has an alarm, but it is not very loud and it only sounds off only one time if the temperature rises Inside the box rises. I recommend this device with the caveat that there is minimal support. On the other hand, the cost of one modest size piece of meat easily exceeds the cost of this three sensor measurement/alarm that pays for itself if one door is left slightly open.

The freezer door was left open like an inch and everyone was wet, but fortunately nothing melted. It's so easy for this to happen i decided to add this unit to keep track of anything going on in the fridge/freezer.It's a little tricky to set it up, but if you read the instructions, it's not too hard. They didn't really offer suggested settings, so i experimented. It shocked me as the freezer alarm went off and when i checked, i think it was in defrost mode, so i set the alarm temp a little higher but still below freezing.Having 2 sensors makes this an even better deal. I've tested it a few times and it amazes me how little the door needs to be open to set the alarms off. If you've ever lost all your frozen food, you know you need one of these. And it's such cheap insurance.

I am able to monitor my outdoor freezer as long as I have it "direct line of sight" (through a shed wall and a house wall). It does occasionally lose connection, so I don't keep the alarm on, I just keep it in an area I can look at once a day.I bought two sets without thinking about the fact that the channels would not be different enough to work. Once I figured out which remotes went with which unit, I gave the second set to my parents so they can monitor their basement freezer. It's been working great for them, and with only one floor to go through, they have not lost connection at all.

Excellent for keeping an eye on remote building, ie: greenhouses, barns, sheds etc. I use mine to regulate in association with wifi plugged heaters to control area temperatures.

It works very well. I was surprised I thought with it being wireless it might not have worked.

This unit has two sensors and one receiver/display unit. I placed one of the sensors in my freezer in the basement and it worked well for a couple of months. It stopped transmitting and the display on the receiver only displayed dashed lines instead of the temperature. I contacted Amazon, who said to contact the seller, who said to contact Amazon! When I contacted Amazon again, they said it was beyond the return window and they couldn't do anything. I didn't want to return it necessarily, but to replace the failed sensor. I opted to keep it and use the other sensor until it fails - probably in another couple of months! Then I'll try to find something made in the US instead!

A great product for monitoring fridge and freezer for the main room and not by the units, easy to complete the daily hygiene reports.

This little wonder worked great when I had a frost event on July 18 and almost lost my crops. It woke me up at 2 am and I was able to start frost control measures. One of the sensors is now not functioning, but the other one works well. The two remote sensors can be approximately 2 degrees off from each other, so I generally set the minimum temperature at 34 degrees rather than 32 in order to make sure my crops are protected.I should note that the first frost alarm arrived broken, but the seller was quick to send me a replacement. They were great.

I ordered this to use inside my refrigerator and freezer. Before doing anything with it, I put batteries in everything and made sure the two remote sensors were linked with the main unit. Right away, I noticed that none of the three temperature sensors agreed with each other on the temperature of the room - All three showed a different temperature. They are all within 2 degrees Fahrenheit of each other. My second test was to place both remote units inside my freezer right next to each other and give them a few hours to stabilize: again, the temperature readings coming off the two remote sensors were a few degrees off from each other. My third test was to place both remote units inside my refrigerator right next to each other and give them a few hours to stabilize: again, the temperature readings coming off the two remote sensors are a few degrees off from each other.Pictured in the photo: the readings from the two remote units in my refrigerator (after an hour to stabilize). As you can see, one says 32.7°F and the other reads 34.1°F. That is a 4% margin of error and is within the manufacturer's claim that it's accurate to ±2°F (assuming that actual correct temperature is somewhere in between the two readings).Getting the correct refrigerator temperature is VERY important because there is very little margin for error. Be sure you know how far off your remote temperature sensor is before relying on it. You are shooting for 34 to 39 degrees which means you'll want to see a reading of 36 or 37 on this sensor to account for the 2 degree margin of error.
