I have a side business as a handyman for rentals. These little snap-closure parts bins are going to help me out a lot: getting my fasteners sorted out and easy to grab when I head out to a repair job. They are firmly built, stay closed, and keep everything separate. There are two design flaws I see so far. The minor one is that you can't exactly see through the semi-opaque plastic lid, so you might sometimes have to open one or two of the cases up before you can tell the difference between 2 similar types of fasteners that might be in 2 different cases. Oh well, that's not a huge deal breaker. The bigger flaw for me is that they are not interconnecting or even shaped to be stack-able. That would have been a no-brainer. I would really like to be able to grab the whole stack or at least 2 or 3 all at once and move it around in my shop and between the truck and shop, without the stack falling over and sliding off of each other. Price wise, I have looked at similar items priced a bit lower at a discount tool chain store, as well as bins nicer than these up at around $35 for the same capacity. Because they have two flaws, one minor and one larger, I can't say that they are absolutely worth the listed price but they are well made and darn useful.

BEST THING ABOUT IT: fully segmentedWORST THING ABOUT IT: lids are not transparentADDITIONAL LIKES: lids close tight, three hinges, large compartments, keep dust and debris from bins, there is a rim around the sides and in the front to further keep your material separatedADDITIONAL DISLIKES: noneCOMMENTS (Function, Appearance, Quality): I acquired these to use to store frequently used fasteners. I plan to construct a small shelf under the overhang of my workbench with 4 compartments. one for each of the 4 bins. The bins are a perfect depth for this purpose. As mentioned, the best thing about these bins is that when the lid is closed each compartment is full separated fro the other. If you were by chance to tip the bin, there would be no commingling of the contents. They look nice and are easily labelled. The hinges appear solid and durable as do the clasps for closing. Unless there is an extremely heavy load in a compartment, the entire bin could be dropped and the lid would remain sealed keeping the compartment contents’ separated. They look nice as well. I like the shade of blue - a very industrial look.MOST SUITABLE FOR: Storing fasteners or small parts or hobbyist materialsIS IT WORTH IT?: These are indeed well made. ~$26 seems rather expensive for storage bins, however each 4-compartment bin, appears to be worth the price considering the quality and design. I would buy these again.*PRECISE RATING: 5 stars (I cannot find anything I do not like about these bins)RECOMMENDATION: If you need bins - buy these bins! They are very thoughtfully designed.(As always, I will report back if there are any durability issues with additional use.)*Any downgrades in rating are a a result of issues identified with one or more of the following: Presentation/Packaging, Quality, Craftsmanship, Materials, Functionality, Utility/Versatility, Instructions, Ease-of-Use, Comfort, Value.
