I love the look of the jacket. I had been looking at them for a long time. My first impression was that it feels more oily than I imagined and the field tan I got appears darker tan many of the photos. Maybe that will change now that it is out of the plastic bag it came in. I guess the copius amount of wax is a good sign for the water resistance.The next thing everyone might want to know is fit. I am happy with the fit. I am 6'1 287 lbs and I got the 3XL. I think this was the right choice. I will say I have kind of a barrel chest and bigger belly, but I can still button all buttons and normal spread when unbuttoned. I have a 40" waist and usually wear XXL in my other clothes. Also, I think I have slightly shorter arms than normal and the perfect fit on arms length is with a 1" roll of the cuff which is easy to do and will stay cuffed with this type of material. I am very happy with this jacket.

This Jacket will last you a long time. My last one lived over a decade , before I passed to my friend and he still loves it.Build quality is exceptionally good and can handle abuse with a smile. It is very apt for melbourne weather and keeps you warm..

After reading many reviews, and checking all the information about sizing i could find, i decided to order the XL tall, and The fit is perfect.I'm 6.2/1.88 m tall, and weigh around 230lb/105kg at the moment. My build is athletic with a bit of extra padding on top. I have a longer torso and arms and I'm not really a fan of shorter sleeves and wanted the jacket to be as long as my t-shirt was. The tall sizing fit the bill, and fit exactly as i wanted it to.The jacket itself feels great, a bit tight under the arms, but not to bad. so if you're thinking of working with it, take that into consideration. But all the other jackets i saw were a lot pricier than this one, and i dont think its going to bother me to much. Over all very pleased.

I am 6' 1" and about 222 lbs. XL worked. Sleeve length is correct. I can include at least one layer, such as a sweat shirt and maybe a shirt as well. This is a very cool jacket, and even better looking than what most photographs show. Perhaps best worn as an open jacket, not buttoned.

I have been wanting a waxed cloth jacket for a while now. I finally decided on this one, and it’s perfect. It has just the right rugged, lived-in look, and it just gets better each time I wear it. The quality of the jacket is obvious as soon as you take it out of the box. Very comfortable to wear, perfect fit, perfect look, perfect feel, just perfect! It’s my new favorite go-to jacket.

I ordered this as a gift for my brother in law who is 6’ 4”. The length was perfect, something that is hard to find. But, he is average build, not overweight, and he still couldn’t close the jacket. The advertise that it is for the average guy who works outside but seems to be for slender people. He loved the wax textured nature of the jacket but disappointed it couldn’t close. Great looking quality jacket but they need to provide more options for the cut.

It's more than a little pricey...But man I love it! No obvious flaws noticed. Seems to be well made. The lining is thinner than I expected, but the jacket warmed me up quick. Was worried because I saw a review saying it wasn't waxed, or not waxed well. Mine is thoroughly coated. Did a drip test and water beaded nicely. The color is beautiful and it is overall just a sharp jacket. Wish it was $100-$150 cheaper, and it was a spur of the moment decision, but it's definitely a keeper.I included photos to demonstrate the fit. I am 6'3" and 185lbs. Chest size is between 39-40". I wanted it to fit snug so I went with a medium-tall. It fits exactly as I wanted it to. Again, this is a snug fit that I was looking for. The sizing guide I used seems to be accurate. Get a tape measure and follow the guide provided.

Bin 178cm und 90 kg, die Jacke habe ich mir in nach den Grössenvorschlägen der Website von Huckberry, in XL bestellt. Passt mit ein bissel Luft für was drunter, Ärmel etwa 1.5cm zulang. Bestellt hatte ich am 21 Juli und die Lieferung war am 18 August. Also alles im Zeitrahmen, wäre auch für 14 Euro Aufschlag wohl schneller gegangen, aber jetzt bei der Wärme im August kann ich die eh noch nicht tragen. Fühlt sich innen schön weich an und von aussen nicht so klebrig und steif wie andere Wachsjacken.

Great jacket, nicely made, took 10 days via the standard delivery service to the UK.As there's no way to try one on in the UK so if you're looking at the larger sizes this may help; if you can find a Kuhl stockist, (they're all over the UK, Go Outdoors, Cotswold Outdoors, Blacks etc), try a Kuhl Burr jacket.I'm 6'2, around 16.5 stone, (230 lbs), 46 inch chest and own an XL Burr jacket which fits great and is a near identical fit to an XXL Flint & Tinder Wax Trucker, the F&T is a little wider at the hip but pulled in using the adjustable waist buttons makes it about the same. The jackets are quite similar in style, feel, arm length etc, (the Burr isn't waxed so feels more conventional), the F&T isn't quite as 'V' shaped as the Burr and the F&T looks quite worn in out of the bag, (in a good way !). I can't vouch for other Kuhl sizes being one fit down. Hope this helps

Looks great. You can immediately tell that it's made to last. I can easily image myself still wearing it regularly 30 years from now. Wax treatment is thorough.Things you should know- Colour is darker in person than in pictures unless under bright light.- It's a slim fit across the chest and shoulders so check the measurements. It wears like a shirt not like a jacket. Think about going up a size if you're planning on wearing anything other than a t-shirt underneath. The material initially is somewhat stiff so you might also consider sizing up if you're planning on wearing it for activities that require a bit of movement (e.g. chopping wood).Overall I'm really happy with it.
