Very detailed app, and I’m excited to use the sleep tracker as my baby is a poor sleeper! But gives me peace of mind with the heart rate and oxygen checker (:

I was able to successfully connect and update by using a ipad in a matter of a couple minutes but I had a really bad struggle using a Galaxy phone the firmware update kept failing. As I researched even the main websites troubleshooting page the directions did not work..on the iPad it works great. The features are nice.

My son was having seizures and I wanted to monitor his heart rate while he was sleeping in case he had one while sleeping. The product originally worked great. Set up was easy. I finally slept for 2 nights knowing I would be alerted if his heart rate or oxygen changed. The third night it said I needed to upgrade the firmware on the watch. I did this numerous times and it said fail. It has nothing to do with my WiFi. I’ve emailed customer service several times and they have been unhelpful. You can’t even view one of the settings and change the notifications. It won’t let you scroll up. I knew this product was too good to be true. The app has been updated and apparently due to a lot of bugs and fixes but not good enough. I’m returning this product. Unfortunately the Owlet will not be suitable for a 2 year old so I will be looking again for another monitor.

This has been the worst purchase I’ve made in quite some time. The product is riddled with issues, and the lack of effective customer support only makes matters worse.Major Issues with the Product:1. No Pulse Alarm: The device fails at its most critical function—monitoring your baby’s pulse. For example, if the monitor is removed from the baby's foot, no alarm is triggered, no matter how long it’s disconnected. This is unacceptable for a product marketed as a safety device.2. Heart Rate and Oxygen Tracking: The device hasn’t updated or tracked heart rate or oxygen levels since August 2024. Despite sending numerous screenshots and videos to customer support, I’ve received no resolution or meaningful response after months of waiting.3. Base Station Problems: o The base station frequently fails to charge the sensor. Even after being connected for an entire day, the sensor at times remains uncharged. o It occasionally stops functioning altogether.4. Connectivity Issues: o The device often appears as “offline,” rendering it unusable. o It only allows one phone to connect, which is highly inconvenient for families. o You cannot control key features like the light or sound machine from the app(as advertised), which defeats the purpose of having a "connected" monitor (even in same room).5. Limited Functionality: The melodies and nightlight are the only features that work reliably, but they must be controlled directly from the base station—not via the app/phone. This essentially makes the product a very expensive clock-radio.Customer Support:Horrible. All I’ve received are acknowledgment emails, with no actual support or updates on my refund request. Months later and I am still waiting.Conclusion:This product doesn’t deliver on its promises. The lack of an alarm for no pulse detection is particularly concerning and makes the device unsafe to rely on. For a device marketed as an advanced baby monitor, it falls significantly short and is not worth the investment. Save your money and your peace of mind—look elsewhere.
