I've been on an organizing tear where I've purged books and junk off my book cases. I want it to look neat, so I've been stuffing magazines, notes, notebooks and clip boards in these simple black file holders, and it looks great. I plan to cover the back with fabric or wallpaper.

I really love several things about these magazine holders. The fact that they lay flat and can be stored if they're not used is great. These marble type magazine holders look really good. They are super easy to assemble. They are sturdy enough for the magazine function. Now for the flaws. Upon assembly the bottom does not lay flat, it tilts to one side slightly and when magazines fall to that side it tips over. And, the bottom needs to be reinforced. The reinforcement can be fixed with some packing tape long ways across the bottom. As far as the tilting goes, it can be fixed by cutting a strip of thin cardboard probably an inch on each side sticking out, and taped, with packing tape, on the bottom at the back of the bottom, and it won't tilt over anymore. But this is a great product with a little flaws it's going to do what it's designed to do. Oh, it holds more than 18 magazines of regular size. I fully recommended it with these simple modifications.UPDATE... I consulted my very intelligent creative wife about the problem of these magazine holders standing upright. I had put a foot on the bottom to hold them up straight. But she in her wisdom said, why don't you use bookends. So I ordered a set of three sets of metal bookends and look forward to taking the feet off and it will look fantastic on top of my bookshelf.

I bought these in the faux marble to look pretty. I know I bought cardboard, but I didn't expect that every one would have a dent. They serve the purpose, I just don't have the energy to pack them up and return them.

I needed a better way to store my spiral-bound notebooks, small journals, and pads of paper, so I bought this 6-pack of organizers. For the price (currently

As a piano teacher, I bought these to keep my many piano books organized, and they are perfect! Some have said they're not sturdy, but I disagree. Yes, they'll crush if you stomp on them, but if you're careful with them, they're definitely strong enough to be filled with heavy piano books. Also, I was afraid they would look cheap, but they are definitely high quality. Worth the money!

These aren't very thick, but they're great for the price. If handled with care, they should last for some time. They bend and crinkle pretty easily. We're using them in a home office. They also don't all "sit flat" (see photos) and sent to slope/tilt/list to one direction or another. Few stand perfectly straight. If you're looking for good price and functionality, they do the job.If you're looking for something Pinterest ready, you'll pay more, but suggest the BLU MONACO Foldable Magazine File Holder with Gold Label Holder - Set of 4 Cardboard Magazine File Boxes - Black and Gold Desk Accessories (go to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F3W9RK8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) , which I also have and am reviewing.UPDATE 2023: After a year, I've chucked all of them. They're just not sturdy. After a while of adding and removing magazines, the sides became "catawampus" with bent edges and leaned in multiple directions.
