In the process of rebuilding the carburetor on my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 I came across an issue where the threading on the brass idle screw and its socket were a bit damaged from dirt and whatnot. The thing is a 5mmx0.8mm, not an uncommon size but I didn't have one. Ordered this one up with no issues, cleaned up the threading and off we go.

This tap and Die aren’t the best quality but they are good enough to use for quick repairs on threads. And for the price they are great for this not so common thread. I used them to repair a Mitsubishi Face mills Seat mount threads and was very successful.
