gave the clock to my sister for her birthday, she loved it, could not stop saying "what a great clock" everytime I spoke to her for days

Poor sound. I wanted the clock for the Westminster hourly chimes....this one sounded terrible as if it was a cheap recording and not even the right octave for the chimes. Sounded very tinny and cheap - not something you’d want to hear daily. Other than that it was a beautiful clock - ended up buying another Howard Miller clock (albeit more expensive one) and it sounds great.
