The aluminum used is super weak. Running a 3300kv spektrum firma motor (a direct replacement for the stock Reedy 3300Kv motor) absolutely shredded the teeth. I had proper alignment, but it meant nothing.

Way better than the stock plastic spur gear on my son's arrma granite 2wd. He stripped 2 plastic ones but this one is holding up fine.

It was a super nice gear but my rc was going with it smoothed out till I noticed a bunch of metal shavings on it and so oh no but amazing gear I should have double check to see if pinion and spur gear are both straight 😂😂

Not recommended if you use a powerful motor. My TekinHD brushless motor shredded this thing on the first run. Can't return it though because what do you expect from Aluminum and it was not the fault of the product. My RC car is just too beefed up. This would probably work fine if you still use the stock motor in your RC car/truck.
