I was not able to gauge the actual size of the band and clamp, when it arrived everything is so small that it fits in one palm, so is light duty and probably should not be used when strength must comply with mechanical specifications such as on a vehicle, but is fine for household things like dryer vent hose.Fit and finish is just okay, did note that some clamps have sharp edges, is not top grade, more like least expensive grade, but it does work, worm gear did not slip, my issue is that the band width is very small and material thickness is not what I am use to using or buying.So use is limited, strength should not be counted on if you require meeting specific torque/tighten specifications, also because of small width, it might cut into certain materials. I can only give this item a 3 Star rating.

These bands are great. I went to buy "pre-made" bands and I was shocked that for the same price as this product you get 5 bands.You need proper cutting sheers to cut them to size. The over sized worm gear and band are very strong.The only down side is that the roll will unspool if you are not careful. It would be great if the spool was in some sort of dispenser that allowed you to pull out the length you need to cut without the whole spool of bands exploding like a Slinky.

Easy to use!!!! I needed to make a large clamp for an odd size piece. It only took me about 10 minutes to make it. Excellent quality and very strong. Amazing experience!!!
