The opening is rather small, which is fine, but that means you have to remember to put the ball inside the cover prior to any amount of inflating. This cover has held up to hours of playtime and two washings so far. Be careful, the Velcro is strong and it will absolutely snag any other material it comes in contact with. For washing- I recommend closing the Velcro tightly AND placing it in a garment bag to protect everything else in the wash load from that Velcro lol

My Blue Heeler X was a velociraptor in a past life. Also, if you need a seam picked she's your girl! This suited its purpose and she had LOADS of fun chasing it around the yard. Unfortunately once she figured out she could actually grab the ball by the velcro its days were numbered. So about a week. Won't give it a bad review because it lasted MUCH longer than the cover we had with a zipper, but wish there was an alternative. She really loved her ball (to death) but once teeth became involved, well, see the attached picture.

I have a goofy, playful, horse who totally loves his ball cover. He's pretty hard on it and although I can see some wear, its held up incredibly well and much better than I was honestly expecting. If you have a horse that uses their mouth more than they should - this is a great way to provide something appropriate for them to mouth on and play with.

I have two Pitbull Terrier mix dogs. They love to play, and they play hard! Unfortunately, I can't to give a passing score for this cover. That being said, I've had horses, and it would have been perfect for them. But when it comes to two young rambunctious heavyweight dogs, it didn't stand a chance. The ball beneath the cover fell apart as well!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚So, if there's anyone brave enough to create a ball for two strong wild puppies to play with, I will be the first to give them a five star review! Until then.....

Bought the 25" ball and the 25" cover. The cover doesn't fit; at all. I wanted a herding ball for my Malinois as he was getting his nose raw with the hard plastic ball we have. He was able to drag it around, whip it like he was killing it, put a hole in the cover and I haven't figured out if he popped the plug out of the ball yet or put a hole in the ball as I haven't had the time to dig it out of the tiny hole they provide for getting the ball into the cover. Highly disappointed and spent a ridiculous amount of money on something that lasted 30 minutes supervised. Seller does not allow returns so even if I had deflated the ball immediately and removed the cover, I could not have sent it back. I repeat, you cannot return this mumu. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Bought it for a dog after seeing on some of the dog FB pages...The concept is great and the exercise ball that I put inside it hasn't had a hole in it yet. The Valcro used for joining the opening hole is too thin in width so change that straight away or stitch over what's here and strengthen it (if you can sew make it like hidden zip)....The material is already getting little holes in it and coming away at the seams....Find a ball pattern on the net and make your own not worth $40. Delivery was great as per Amazon

This cover is great! It’s just a little bigger than advertised.

My horse likes to grab it and throw it. Needs handles or something for them to grab onto, otherwise my horse loves playing with the ball

This cover fit the ball fine, but is not sturdy enough to stand up to the abuse our Dartmoor pony gives it in his pasture. It only lasted a few days until he was able to pick it up where the velcro opening is and sling it!! This caused the seam to rip. This is 2 covers and one ball he has gone through. The cover is still on the ball, but probably will not last but a few more days. He really gets a lot of energy out of his system and it has increased his agility substantially, but the cover can't take what he gives it. The thread needs to be heavier and stitched better.
