Used to build my AR, used on the buffer tube and barrel nut. No issues tightening them down with wrench without torque spec and held through many rounds.

I have a WW2 German Mauser rifle, and sometimes the bolt gets a little sticky. So I ordered this hoppe’s #9 gun grease. It’s a white grease. But it works great. And didn’t take much to make my rifle bolt actuate smoothly.

This Greaser performed much higher in regards to my first initial set expectations. After applying, all my firearms are now smooth to operate. Highly recommend. The viscosity is similar to sour cream. Just thought I'd mention that, I recommend either apply with a glove or Q-Tip.
