Voice of the Customers

solid steel TJ fender flares

Metal replacement flat flares that look awesome

So many TJ metal flares require you to cut the fenders apart to install them. These fit in the same place as the plastic ones did, minus the problems of fading and cracking. Now I have great looking and more durable flat flares that can easily be cleaned and touched up.

Jeep wrangler TJ fender flare

Very good look!

I had mine sanded down so I could have them powder coated orange....Yes you will have to probably drill additional holes to fit, but they are solid and gives my Jeep Wrangler an amazing look and line.

Had to bend the front fenders in and drill almost all the holes to make them fit, but they're very sturdy, look great and my tires aren't sticking out anymore.

I have purchased these flat fender flairs and also a winch bumper from Hooke Road and have been very pleased with both. Shipping is fast and the packaging is excellent. The hardware was actually shipping in a hard plastic container taped to the individual wrapped flairs. The fitment of both items was great with no issues (1 of the cube lights in the bumper was on working and with just one call to customer service a replace light was sent) very happy with Hooke Road

Really like the look of these, but they came with no hardware. Pretty decent price wise.

the product is poorly cut.The holes poorly align to stock wheel well holes. No matter how I try to align them, the poorly cut fender fails to hide the body of the wrangler. The three larger holes that are tabs to hold the wheel well onto the frame does not even align at all with the product.I’m trying to see if I can make this work.Shipping return will be paid by the customer. $80.00 from Southern California.Restocking fee will be charged to the customer. In the end the customer is more on the loss with the poorly cut and designed product

*** 2yr review 7/9/2022. ***Significant flakes, chips, and rust, of about 1.5" on every fender. Nothing ever hit or scraped against them. The finish on this is honestly the worst for a product that I've ever purchased for my TJ.Couple that with the difficulty of install, and this one star review is even too generous.Spend extra for something that wont be a pain in your a== later.Ive learned that lesson with these*** Initial review 7/19/2020 ***Not a single hole lined up with the pre existing holes for the rear of my 97 and 99 TJ sThat means you will either have to drill all new holes in the body of the Jeep, through the poorly aligned holes in the flare, or have some way of marking, patterning, and drilling the holes into the fender flares to match up perfectly with the pre existing holes on the Jeep body.I eventually got these installed in a satisfactory manner by drilling new holes into the body.I will update later with how the fit/finish/form hold up.*** 1st Update --- 7/19/21 ***Paint on one flare has chipped, and metal rusting, in barely a year of use. Was never bumped, scraped, or dinged. Will now have to sand and repaint area. Pretty sure it's only a matter of time before the others are affected.

I have a 2006 LJ that I placed these fenders on. Reading through the reviews I was prepared to drill a few holes, no problem. When I got the fenders, literally ONE hole lined up on the front and THREE on the back. Most reviews made it sound like a few holes needed to be drilled. WE HAD TO DRILL ABOUT TWENTY HOLES!! If the price wasn't so cheap compared to other fenders, there is no way this would be worth it.That being said, the fenders themselves look great and have a nice weight and finish to them. I like the extra wheel room we have now compared to the stock fenders. The instructions themselves were pretty worthless. Basically it says you may need to drill holes and to place the hardware on....ok, thanks. There is no specific "A goes to hole 1, 3, & 5". Basically they are wanting you to make it up as you go, which is not a problem for us but can be an issue for someone worried about messing the body up or doing something wrong. My biggest complaint is that I had to buy $15 worth of additional hardware. My kit was missing 2 of the small nuts and washers. The self-drilling screws are gold instead of black like the rest of the kit. Why would I want to install black fenders with a random mix of gold and black hardware? It would look cheap and stick out like a sore thumb.Installation took a solid 2 hours, but that was taking our time in the cold. On a scale of 1-10 I would put installation difficulty at a 4. Worth the price if you are ok with drilling plenty of additional holes into your Jeep's body.

I’ve been wanting to replace the plastic flat flares l had on my TJ with the equivalent metal ones. So many TJ metal flares require you to cut the fenders apart to install them . These fit in the same place as the plastic ones did, minus the problems of fading and cracking. Now I have great looking and more durable flat flares that can easily be cleaned and touched up. They weren’t a direct “bolt on” as the rear fenders needed to be drilled because the holes didn’t line up. But it looks great after installation. At $175 to my door they are a third the cost of my plastic flares. Can’t beat that! And they look great!
