- This windshield frame cover is CNC-cut, formed, and MIG/TIG-welded to perfectly fit on your Wrangler TJ. It is built from heavy-duty 11-gauge and 8-gauge steel to ensure maximum durability. It is coated with a durable black powder coating to ensure lasting protection against corrosion.
Simple bolt-on Installation.
- First, remove the factory antenna
- Then install the mounting brackets around the cowl area
- After assembling the other parts to be a set of Windshield Frame Cover, place it around the windshield. Adjust the position of the product carefully
- At last, tighten all the bolts. Some basic tools are needed.

You can not remove doors with this on .. top hinge is not accessible. It's great for storing leaves small sticks etc because it is so close to body. If you plan on using roof rack get your cutting wheel out. Time to modify. Overall yeah for a pavement princess it would be a nice frame for your ducks. If you use your jeep be ready to mod this.

1. Bolts to fasten windshield cowl armor mounts were small and not the correct size. I purchased bolts from my auto supply store for a temporary fix and covered with black paint. I then had to order the correct ones on line, (button cap Bolts) from Amazon. 2. The product not fit well on the sides of my TJ Wrangler and the antenna hole did not align correctly. The corners are butting against the door hinges. The Windshield cowl armor should have been design better, to fit correctly and be a true fit and look. I was going to purchase the matching Madmax front Grill, but now, I have my doubts, truly.

I would have been easier with two people, but I did it by myself.I had to go to the hardware store to pick up longer screws, but, oh well!It looks cool and that’s all that matters to me.Definitely worth buying.

First it says to reuse factory hardware to install the mounting brackets on either side of the windshield but mine would not reach the threads. This ment a trip to the hardware store. Then I went to mount it to the brackets just to realize that the supplied bolts were the wrong size. This ment another trip to the hardware store, to find out that if you want to get the chrome ones to match everything else the are extremely expensive. So I just got black ones. Then getting it mounted realize that the cutout for the door hinge sits directly above the hinge, meaning that if I want to swap out doors for mu tube or half doors I will have to remove this, swap doors Then reinstall it. Nice thick metal but poorly done.
