Just got it yesterday and laid it out flat over night. Took the curl out of it. laid it out on truck this morning to see if i liked the looks. Doesn't look too bad really. Kind of different then others . I will wait until the temps get up steady over 60-70 degrees to install. I will add a strip of 3M tape thru the middle as suggested. I will hope that it last. I did see one review that said beware , because the product faded around the edges. Hopefully that was an isolated case.

I knew something was wrong when the package tracking said delivered left in mailbox! Yes its so flimsy it was rolled up in a package shoved in my mailbox. The chances of getting this thing to lay flat to install it is slim to none. I never even tried to install it because it would have been impossible to install it and it not look like crap and the quality is junk. It's a cool looking add on but poorly executed product.

I should have looked a little closer, everything was as the seller said it should be - but I thought this was a hard plastic protector. It is a solid rubber piece that will adhere to your vehicle. It has a ton of very strong sticky material all along the inside that will seal it to your truck. There is preparation swabs to prepare the paint before sticking it on the truck. It also has some cool looking ribs that stand up and align with the body features of the Tacoma. Full disclosure, I was in the car business for a long time and I do not adhere anything to a vehicle. No stickers of any sort. That is my reasoning for the 4 stars

The hood protector by Xipoqix does provide debris protection on your Tacoma hood in any road conditions. It arrived in a general cardboard box all rolled up tightly since it's flexible, not hard plastic as I originally thought. The double-sided tapes surround ALL 4 sides, along with 2 on the 2nd triangle bump on both sides. Installation is easy; for me, I started on the tip of the hood (arrow, either side) and then worked either toward the end of the middle. To ensure it covers the other end, I have to pull a bit to cover ALL edges. Look great and tough after the installation. There are 2 minor issues I encounter. 1. Rolled up tightly during packaging, give a bendable of the edge (inner part of the roll), which you have to leave out a little bit with heavy material to ensure it's straight. 2. There isn't enough double-sided tape provided, which causes a little bubble-like feeling when touched. If there is a double-sided tape run across the middle, it would prevent the bubbler. Overall, it looks fantastic on the hood with protection on the road. Recommended, Yes.
