I’m really happy with this mobile kitchen cart, but there are a few things worth mentioning. First, the materials are not the sturdiest—the base is made of particle board rather than thick wood, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something very solid. However, it’s been working well for my needs.The wheels lock securely, which is a huge plus, and it fits perfectly in the space I had planned for it. One thing to note: I couldn’t use the handles because they would have made the cart too wide, but it still functions great without them. My husband added drop leaf supports to give it more functionality, and I covered the top with marble contact paper to match my kitchen counters—it looks fantastic now and blends right in!Overall, it’s a great addition to my kitchen and helps give me that extra counter space I needed when cooking. With a few adjustments, it works perfectly!

We bought this as a small island in our mother-in-law suite. It is great for the small kitchen, and the foldable Leafs make it much more compact. The storage under is great for extra cabinet space.

This product is perfect for what I need in a small space. Everything is well constructed, except for the base where the rollers connect.When I screwed in the rollers on one corner, the wood broke apart.I’m hoping to update with the photo.UPDATE: cart does not roll well. Works great if you do not need to move it.2-years later update: the top of the cabinet warped and the bottom of the cart does not last as the rollers were not good quality. Will be trashing this $200 cart.

I have a galley kitchen with not too much prep space and got this to give me extra storage and place to roll out dough. It seems very sturdy and I am so happy to have the cart. The only drawback (for me) was that I had to pay someone to put it together for me. But if you are handy, this shouldn't be a problem.

Instructions were good on this cart. I even adjusted slightly, in that I did NOT install handles on either side. I like that it has a good strong, sturdy feel (doesn't feel flimsy like so many pieces of furniture you put together these days and that is ALL I own ; ) I am very happy with this cart. My only pet peeve and it's a very small one, is that hinge is different in that it sits on top of the cart, instead of hanging to the side (just worries me that it won't be as strong when drop leaf is extended), but on the PLUS side (my space was limited - hence no handles on either side), so it was actually GOOD for me the way it is. I would have no reservations of buying this cart again. The only thing I would have liked to see added is a nice sized spice rack on the left side (facing cart) - one that fits size of vinegar or soy sauce or wine bottles, but that would have just made it perfect, and I bet some folks if they wanted a rack at all would probably want it on the right side. I believe most folks will be very happy with this cart!

This island arrived in excellent condition, was not difficult or terrible time-consuming to assemble. Sturdiness is good, about what I expected for the price. Size is perfect for our small kitchen, and the fact that it is on wheels and can be moved out of the way when necessary is a bonus!
