The first thing I noticed was that these come in a nice carrying case. I tested the second largest saw and it worked well. It is certainly sharp enough and very sturdy.The saws themselves are quite shallow. For the larger ones, that does not present much of a problem. It would be difficult to cut a 6" hole in really thick wood anyway. But the shallow depth of the smaller ones would prevent you from drilling through something like a 4x4 post.This is a good overall set, especially if you do not need to drill through anything thicker than 1".

Great toolkit, really useful for my kids' playhouse DIY project last weekend. Handy variety of blade sizes for any task. The storage box is sturdy and keeps everything organized. Used it on various materials, like wood and drywall, without issues. Definitely wished I'd bought it earlier. Solid purchase.

PROS: Nice carry/storage case, includes most common used sizes of hole saws, includes 3 pilot bit assemblies and 2 Allen wrenches, initially sharp and cut fast (rough holes) in woods and plastic decking etc... CONS: All the pilot shaft assemblies are left hand threaded, with seems counter intuitive since this would allow the nut to self loosen instead of self tighten as you spin the bit in the required clockwise direction. The bits aren't as deep as others, so if your boring more than 3/4 of an inch deep, you'll need to bore from the other side (up to about 1.5 inches total like a 2x4), these are not fine tooth blades, so you'll get a rougher hole than you may desire. Sticks a bit in PVC9as they all do once hot) and won't quite get through from one side on standard PVC decking that's about 7/8-1 inch thick. Overall a good value for this many hole saws and parts, and could make a nice gift...

This is a 23 piece set with the full range of hole saws from 3/4” to 6”. The hole saw blades are good quality. This is likely everything you’ll ever need for home repair and projects. The shanks are provided in 3 sizes depending on the drill and hole saw you use. I really like the sturdy plastic case provided with the set, my problem with past sets has always been the round blades rolling all over the drawers but this case keeps everything organized.
