I bought this item because it said that it would fit the bottle that I bought separately. They were way too small for the bottle. Very disappointed 😞

I read to measure the size of the opening and order that diameter of cork. The cork should rest wide side upand rest then 1/2 of the cork is outside the opening and the other 1/2 of the cork in inside the opening.I suppose now I will have to order a cork 1 3/4 inch to properly fit.

It fits a gallon wine jug perfectly.I drilled an 8mm hole in the cork to accommodate an airlock, and it works fine.

nothing liked. they leak. we got them for bottling distilled water and they are no good.
