I bought this to aim a DIRECTV dish after moving it to a better location. First, there are almost no instructions. Second, it’s more for searching for satellites with free programs.I managed to figure out which satellite I needed and got the dish aimed actually nearly perfectly. I spent $65 for the meter but saved about $50 by not having to have DIRECTV come out and aim it. My recommendation is, if you don’t know a whole lot about which satellites you’re looking for and a real good starting point, don’t buy this, you’ll just be frustrated.
