The function of the ballast is to help your headlight start quickly, provides the voltage needed to start the lamp and regulates the electrical current of the light once it is lit.
Why Replace the Ballast?
1.Moisture causes the ballast to malfunction and the HID bulb to burn out.
2.The light bulb flickers or goes out, or the left and right lights are not on at the same time.

My driver side low beam one day just didn’t turn on so at first I replaced the bulb and nothing but after I swapped in the new module worked like a charm great fit no issues whatsoever

Fitment was ok. The red rubber gasket it came with is new so it is still hard. Ended up using my OEM gasket, but shouldn’t be a problem.
