It is nice and sturdy. It was fast and easy to assemble. I didn't need instructions however I am a music teacher. It seems decent quality and I am happy to have it as it's value was right. It has a nice weight to it so it is nice quality.

We originally got this for my dad to use on his drum set. When he unboxed it and set it up, he realized it's really more for a child sized or beginner set. He says it will be too short for his purposes. Also, the spring to the pedal does make a lot of noise when pressing down on it. Otherwise, he says the screws are sturdy and not cheap-feeling. The double brackets are good, and this has all the necessary adjustments.

This Seteol hi-hat stand offers a solid, double-braced design with smooth pedal action. The adjustable height and foldable build add convenience, while the heavy-duty construction ensures stability during performances.

This hi-hat stand is a budget-friendly option for drummers looking for a portable and adjustable stand. The double-braced design adds stability, but the overall build quality may not be as durable as higher-end models. It’s decent for beginners or casual use, but professionals may find it a bit flimsy for heavy playing.

This hat stand is a very solid example of hardware that you would find on a beginner level drum kit. Not cheap like a first act drum kit hat stand but a legit student kit for someone who’s really serious about learning to play. The action when pressing the pedal down is a bit creaky but after I hit all the moving parts with a bit of spray lube it smoothed right out. The recoil is not bad at all and the clutch holds the top hat just fine. I gave this hat stand 4 stars not because it’s not DW quality but because it’s not up to its full potential out of the box but I would say that it’s definitely quality enough to get anyone going and it’s priced just right!

Initially I was going to give this five stars because it works for my style of play. However, when I had a friend who is a metal drummer play, I found out some interesting things about the pedal assembly at the base.If you play drums without being heavy-footed, this is a very reasonable hi-hat stand. The top collar requires some serious tightening to stay in place, and is pretty good once it's all set up.The only real challenge that I have is if you are a spirited player or heavy footed, there are no spikes on the pedal assembly and it relies on a very thin piece of metal at the bottom to keep it in place so you get some swinging forwards and backwards as you're playing and this can throw off the feel of the pedal. If you are a normal to light player, say jazz or blues, this would be a decent lightweight addition for the money. Otherwise, spend some money for something that can lock the pedal assembly into place

There were so many things wrong with the silver Seteol Hi Hat Stand. First, the product arrived broken (a piece of plastic that holds the bottom Hi Hat arrived shattered). Second, the product did not include any assembly instructions. Third, after assembling the Hi Hat Stand (trying to copy the image on the product page), I found that the device is non-functional. The pieces provided do not permit the operation of the Hi Hat Stand (as the product did not include a clutch - and this is the piece necessary for the Hi Hat Stand to function). Last, the images of the product on the product page are egregiously inaccurate. The image shows the product (with parts provided) and above it shows the parts that would be necessary to make the product function (that weren't included with the stand). In short, don't buy this for a drummer or for anyone else - this is an utter piece of garbage.

The Seteol Hi Hat Stand is a good, medium duty stand that will do the job for a beginner drummer or as a standby in case something happens to another stand one might have.It was easy enough to get out of the box and note all the pieces to get ready to assemble. There were no instructions, so unless you are familiar with how it needs to be put together, you may have to look at a couple videos to make sure it is being done correctly. There are basically three pieces, so it isn't difficult. I was able to get it assembled in about 5 minutes.I would call this a medium duty stand. It isn't quite as thick as my Tama stand which is heavier, thicker, and a bit larger. The pedal is a bit smaller than I am used to. The braces are thinner, and the foot pads are not as big either. The Seteol stand will work well with my practice set.I have one concern that needs to be mentioned. The clutch (the part that holds the top cymbal) seems to be missing a tightener. My other hi hat stands have basically three tighteners to hold the cymbal (I don't want to call them nuts, but they are used to tighten the pads on top and below the cymbal). Two go on top and one goes on the bottom. The two top ones are to set and "lock" the adjustment on the cymbal. The bottom one is the one that will adjust it. That may be a strange way of explaining it, but I found that if there is only one on the top and one on the bottom, the bottom one will come loose and will need to be constantly tightened. A clutch that has two top ones generally stays tight. The clutch that comes with this stand has only two - one for the top and one for the bottom. It's a preference thing, so the one included will be fine. With this in mind, the Seteol Hi Hat Stand will work well for a beginner or in a practice situation where there isn't a lot of hard and heavy action required of the hi hat. It is a solid and useful stand that will do the job for light and medium play. It holds the cymbals well and doesn't slide around, so it will do what it is supposed to do.
