Could'nt move the suspension nut past a certain point due to damage through 3-4 threads. Heard a thread file could do the trick but had no idea what size to order. Took a shot in the dark with the metric threads since its a japanese bike and I was so relieved to find 1.50 fit the thread perfect. I filed away on and off for about 20 minutes in a tough to reach spot but finally removed enough of the burrs and damage for the nut to move past without issue. Very happy!

I did not like the file because there were two tpi on the same side. Not easy to use. Took a long time to do any good.

seller service was great and shipping was fast however manufacturer's package was wrong and inside after unsealing a month later, when i needed to use one, it was dicovered there was 2 of the same file and none of the one i actually needed. it would be the one with 27 on it for 1/8''npt. lesson learned!
