We got this to keep in our car, to use while visiting friends and family with no soft surface for our baby to play on. It’s 50x50 so kind of large, but can be folded down if your little is still only on belly or back play or you’re super tight on space. It comes in a vacuum-sealed bag and it mostly looked decent enough to gift as-is, but it had barcodes and stickers that may not be the vibe you’re going for lol it’s a very cute simple pattern, gender-neutral, and the play mat mostly stays put unless someone kicks it up, since it has grippies on the other side. We haven’t washed it, but it can be washed which is great! I’d say just leave it hanging outside or over your stair railing to dry. Overall, great buy, no regrets, would gift maybe outside of the packaging, and th eprice is really reasonable!

This play mat is really cute and has a great design. It is more of a thicker style blanket with an anti-slip side. This would be a great mat to travel with as it folds up nicely and is washable in the washing machine. Because it’s not super thick, I would suggest using on carpeted areas or on top of a foam mat.

This hexagon shaped baby play pat has a lovely Boho rainbow print! The material is more in line with a thin quilt, and I like that the bottom has gripping nubs to help it stay in place. The mat doesn't take up much space when folded, and would be great to keep in the car or diaper bag for putting your baby in a safe place when you're away from home.

I ordered this for my puppies. I actually used this for one of my girls to whelp on. I had it in a playpen and I was in there with her. I have to say that it is soft and comfortable to sit on! I was pleasantly surprised since my momma needed help and I was in there for about 6 hours while she delivered 4 puppies. What makes this even better? It didn't stain! blood and other bodily fluids washed right out. I have to say that I was not expecting this to be near as nice as it is! I would definitely recommend for a baby to have tummy time or a plethora of other uses!
