What a difference this sway bar makes and I Should have bought it sooner! Our Sprinter came with lousy leaf springs, questionable shocks and the upgraded 1.25” sway, but it was always a Rock & Roll event in curves , rough roads, drive-ways, etc. We spent thousands of dollars upgrading ALL shocks and springs, but the ‘experts’ thought the factory 1.25 swaybar was enough. For the price, I SHOULD HAVE started with the HELLWIG 1.5 Sway bar 1st!!!Don’t be fooled by the cheaper ‘knockoff’ swaybars, they are not the same.

Well it definitely helps control it. This sway bar was extremely easy to install. Make sure your vehicle is on it suspension before removing the old sway bar.This helps with the sway but doesn't remove it all. New shocks or the SuperSprings would also help.

My OEM sway bar was 33.5 mm. The Hellwig bar is 38mm. That's just not a large difference for the cost. Size matters, and while I've not traveled with this new bar yet, just moving around the yard feels no better than before. Your call, but I would not chose this again.

Vendor did not send D bushings, which are needed to accommodate the larger size bar. Hellwig took care of it at no charge. Hellwig GREAT! JBTool, not so much

If you have a motorhome on your chassis, go by the chassis year, and not the year of the coach!This sway bar has improved my ride, and greatly reduce the sway; along with sumo springs front and rear.I imagine the ride with full airbags are nicer, but the sumo springs do the job of the small air bags Along with the Hellwig anti sway bar, at about a 10th of the price, with DIY installation.

I have a Class C RV which was built on top of a Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis (Winnebago is the RV manufacturer). Driving the RV on the Interstates, with big rigs blowing by and side winds, is unnerving. We heard from our FB group that the manufacturer's shocks were inadequate for the teetering motion. I replaced them and that was a big improvement. But there still was a lot of top-heavy swaying. I replaced the manufacturer's sway bar with this Hellwig sway bar and there was again, dramatic improvement. I believe it rides like a rig should, without constant swaying. My wife could detect the improvement from the passenger side. We now feel the smooth up-and-down motion of the suspension as you normally do on certain roads, but without the side-by-side motion. The ride is closer to a luxury car. I had the sway bar installed, but I have heard from our FB group that you can do it yourself if you are handy doing mechanical work.

This sway bar has made a world of difference in the way our Vita RV handles on the road, especially on turns and curved roads. We can make rough turns without everything bouncing around and worry about things falling out of cabinets. The ride is much smoother all the way around. Installation was easy, simply remove the old sway bar and install new one. Took less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!!
