Your cart is empty.Sway bars, or more accurately anti-roll bars, are designed to resist a vehicle’s tendency to pitch from side to side during cornering, improving cornering ability and making for a more comfortable controlled ride. Sway bars are among the most cost effective and dramatic improvements that you can make to your vehicle regardless of whether it’s a truck, muscle car, tow rig, or RV. Sway bars are also typically easy to install, making them a great first upgrade for anyone who wants a little more control out of their ride.

The sway bar is certainly beefy enough. I have not installed it yet. I tried once, but the brackets do not fit on the shoulders of the differential housing, even though it is supposed to fit a 2009 F250. I will have to modify and grind the brackets a bit to fit around the flanges on the differential housing. This will turn a 2-hour install into an all-day project. Will get it done, but was quite disappointed with the fact that the brackets did not fit as stated. I rated the features highly because I know that once I get it installed, it will be fine, and will perform well.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ONLINE FROM AMAZON. I REACHED OUT TO HELLWIG ASKIGN WHY THE KITS ARE MISSING PARTS AND NOT HAVING THE CORRECT PARTS INCLUDE. I RETURNED TWO KITS BOTH WITH ISSUE.HEWILL RESPOND WITH THISWe actually don’t work with Amazon. We stopped a few years ago, as they were notorious for sending out kits that were rummaged through for other parts, incomplete kits, and for sending kits that they would throw miscellaneous parts into after rummaging for replacement components. Sadly, we haven’t been able to stop the selling of our kits through Amazon as they are a third part vendor.I WOULD ONLY SAY BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

I installed the sway bar on my pickup to reduce sway when my slide in camper was on the truck. The kit included 6 locking 1/2" nuts. They were supposed to be fine thread (20) but three of the 5 were coarse thread (13). A trip to Fastenal solved the problem for about $3. I couldn't find a way to get Amazon to resolve this without returning the entire anti sway bar, so I just found the nuts I needed locally.

Perfect fit on my 2002 F350 with a 4" lift. Install was straightforward and simple. It makes a huge difference while carrying our Lance camper.

this product fit my truck and was not too difficult to install. As in other reviews the hardware could be better. I have not loaded the camper yet so I can't say for sure but I expect to have significantly reduced the amount of sway. I don't know why but this kit for F350 4x4 swd was hundreds more than the F350 4x4 dwd. I wasn't happy about that but paid the price because I needed it.

I waited a couple hundred miles before posting about this Hellwig Bigwig 7268 anti-sway bar. I cannot say enough good things about it. My wife no longer attempts to rip out the Oh Crap Handle when we make a turn. Drinks don't go flying all over the cab either! On the softest setting (there are 3), my truck was immediately transformed into a smooth-straight sailing machine. This bar, for the most part, eliminated my sway issues. However, for those guys with the 8" Procomp (or similar) lift system, be cautious with the end links supplied. The supplied end links are designed for a truck up-to 6" lift. Please note that although my truck is lifted, it rarly sees any off road situations. Therefore I used careful judgement and measurements and it has worked wonders.***8 months later follow-up:1) The 7/16" bolts connecting the end links to the sway bar busted its threads, stripping them. I drilled out the sway bar holes to 1/2" and upgraded the bolts to Grade 8, 3-1/2"x1/2", along with lock washers, Blue (medium) Lok Tite and locking nuts.2) The u-bolts allowed the axle brackets to clock forward, which caused the passenger side of the sway bar to crash into the passenger rear shock body. This caused the shock body to collapse at that point and it then blew out its pressurized hydraulic fluid. Not a complete disaster since shocks are relatively cheap. Here is my tip: weld the axle brackets to the hogs head, like I did, as shown in my pictures. This will keep it from moving. The bar, it's bushings and u-bolts will still be able to be removed for any future maintenance. This is still a great product I would suggest it to all. Just understand that this is an aftermarket product and may need some slight modifications to be a permanent upgrade.

I bought this to replace the weak factory rear sway bar on my F-250. Installation was simple except for the fact that my oversized gas tank (46-gallon Transfer Flow) made one of the end link mounting nuts extremely difficult to reach. Removing the old end links was considerably more difficult than installing the new ones (because you have to turn the nut inside the frame rail, while the new link can be installed by holding the nut with a wrench and turning the bolt from the outside). So, those without a factory sway bar shouldn't have any issues. And those with a factory sway bar and a stock fuel tank shouldn't have any issues, either. Obviously, this is not a defect in the product, which is very beefy and well-made.The body roll when carrying my camper is dramatically improved over the stock sway bar, which was tiny by comparison. If you carry a camper, this thing is practically a necessity. After you install it, you'll wonder how you ever got by without it.

I installed the Helwig anti-sway bar onto my 2002 F350 4x4 utility bed work truck with an 11.3' camper in the bed. The truck is very heavy and has colapsed 2 sets of rear leaf springs over the years. I dont know why it took me so long to purchase this product. It is great. My truck handles a lot better now and does not sway in the wind.
