First, let me start by saying that I do actually like these. It can attach in a couple different ways and if you like the belt clip but not the carabiner style clip on top, you can pretty easily remove that. The spring loaded retracting cable works well and stays wound up even with a full set of keys attached. My only problem is the claim that this is heavy duty. I can tell you that this is mostly plastic and does not feel heavy duty at all. Will it last a long time? Can't really say yet. But I do wish it's construction was a little more sturdy. Overall a great product but just a bit misleading description.

I am always on the lookout for a durable retractable badge and key ring, as I tend to wear them out quickly due to use. These seem very durable and quality, and are working well so far. Only time will tell how long the rope will last, as that is usually the first thing to break. But I am hopefully these will last longer than most.

These are mostly plastic, but they do feel quite sturdy. The clip closure and ring are metal. The cord looks to be a metal cable. Most of the rest is plastic. I've yanked hard on the clip, and torqued the body, and it seems like it should hold up.The cable has just the right retraction rate, where it's not tugging hard against you when it's pulled out, but quickly and completely retracts once you let off. Better than other retractables I've tried. Clip has a nice closure to it, looks like it will stay closed if you have it hanging off a belt loop or something.Not bad at all. I'm a fan. Hope they hold up as good as they seem like they should. At the price, you can't beat these

It's a neat little clip, tho is is a bit on the large side if it helps at all I'm 6'5 and that's my hand in the picture not super big as to be uncomfortable but you're definitely not going to forget where it's at. It has a good clip it holds onto to whatever you clip it to, seems to be built sturdy seems durable it does have a metal cord that retracts easily and smoothly no clicking or noises and I'm not sure how but I was unaware at first that it was a two pack LOL which made it and even better value for the money is I thought the price was fair for one but I actually got two of them.
