I usually purchase a standard leather loop with a button snap to secure a ring of keys with a break away set. I can't find them anywhere nowadays. This item looks and looks like it would function the way I prefer to use the generic leather loops secured with one snap. However when my break away set is in my ignition switch other keys are on the part attached to the loop secured by one snap. I can remove that part from my belt and open a mailbox or a door with one hand. The velcro however requires two hands. without to velcro this item would be perfect. The material is sturdier than leather and more water resistant. However if I cannot remove the velcro myself I will not purchase this style item again. I think the velcro is a bit overkill as I've been using this style of loop secured by one snap for thirty years. I've never had the snap come undone unless I was the one doing it. Having to use two hands to remove a single snap keychain loop while carrying a bag of groceries or a dog is impossible and frustrating. good construction and material but the velcro is a deal breaker for me. I'm set in my ways for my one snap keyloop for keychain.

The key holder does as described and can also act as a belt keeper. It has Velcro that keeps it in place.

I have a lot of keys for work...car fob, exterior door, office door, supply closet, and file cabinet. I keep a pocket knife clipped to my right-front pocket and a small flashlight clipped to my left-front pocket. I also keep my cell phone in my pocket, and my personal vehicle key fob in there as well if I forget to move it to my small backpack while at work. So getting all my work keys out of my pocket and onto this gem of an item was terrific!
