I ordered the same MIC and it worked but this second one failed. It was not working and I don't like standing at the post office and to return the item back. I'm thinking of repair it myself.

The mic jack is a show stopper for laptop audio jacks (more on that below.) Otherwise the mic is nice. It's quite minimalistic which is why I bought it (I hate wearing bulky mics and headsets on my zoom calls.) The ear loop is large, but I bent it in 2 places, and it sat still (yes, you can bend it, though surely not good for the mic ultra thin electric wire - but it didn't breeak).The sound is Omni directional (it catches all sounds and noises around you). But they state that in the specs so I knew that coming into the purchase.Now the stupid jack. It's just too short to communicate with my 2 laptops, or with an adapter (female to male audio jack - i was desparate trying to make it work.) The metal ring on the jack (a screw of sorts for certain belt(?) wireless devices?).Here's how I got it to work: I cut the jack (after unscrewing it and taking note of which wire connects to which tiny ring of the TRS plug). I had a spare audio jack which I recycled by connecting the 2 wires (soldered them) and now it works great.To the manufacturer: either put a warning about the thick ring rendering it *not* for laptops -- for innocent buyers. OR, put instructions how to overcome this (remove the sturdy ring; which I could not break, even with heavy duty pliers.)

I really wanted to love this. Price is great, sound is good. I am normal size and the mic does not stay out on the ear; it’s much too large and no way to size it. We can’t teach with the headset falling off the ESR!
