Does not come with bezel nut? Cannot secure it to dash. Going to have to fabricate/hallow a bolt. A single bezel nut cost $20! But switch itself is ight.

Got theirs hooked up and it wouldn't work. So I took the old one apart and found out you need to make a jumper wire like another reviewer suggested. Then it worked perfectly, except the threads I side where the nut screws in were not fully tapped correctly. It would screw on partway then stop. So I had to keep turning the nut in and out until it cleaned the threads up.

Switch comes with no attachment part to actually use the switch in the car. Look for another one that actually comes with what is necessary to attach it to dash for use. This one is useless to me as sold.

Switch is probably fine but it will NOT fit a 69 Beetle. The threads in the front are larger than the threads needed to fit the front piece that secures it to the dashboard. There were no pictures in the description that shows the actual front of the switch so you can see the larger threads. It’s a bit misleading. Was not able to mount it in the dashboard of my car and had to order a different one from another vendor.

On pre-1970 vehicles you do not have switched power for x so you have to use a piggyback terminal and make a jumper from 30 to the X terminal be sure to use shrouded terminals. The last picture is compliments of j-bugs.com.The switch comes with no instructions so I help this helps everybody.

The threads are different. But I bought it anyway and made the threaded part so it would fit my 1970 Bus. Better then the Bus Depot switch that fell apart as I was installing the Bus Depot switch.
