Tried putting it on and didnt fit (there is a plastic tab, break this off first.) Fit well after and worked. Bought for my Fiance since she used a fork to turn her headlights on for a 2001 Ford F150.

It took less than fifteen seconds to pull my old switch knob off and to push this new headlight switch onto the control unit for my parking lights, fog lamps, and headlights on the broken 1999 OEM knob on my F 150 XLT truck. Looks great and no different than the manufacture know the truck came with 25 years ago.

Don't know if it was supposed to have the plastic tab on the back but it didn't fit in mine. Removed the tab installed it and it works perfectly.
